About Us

Griffin, Griffin & Mayo, P. C. is a law firm in Waterbury, Connecticut, dedicated to providing representation in the areas of real estate, banking, and estates and probate law, including wills and trusts. Our goal is to ensure that individuals and small businesses have access to the representation they need. Our firm was founded by Walter R. Griffin at a single desk and chair in 1949. He practiced law for more than 60 years, building the practice and establishing our core values. Today, in a range of disciplines, we represent a multitude of clients from individuals to small businesses and multi-billion dollar corporations.

We serve clients in need of help in many complex areas of law, yet we continue to draw upon our simple focus and values that have been present throughout the existence of our practice. Our core values are to be excellent at listening, to communicate directly and honestly, to place your needs first, and to deliver a high level of service in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. From Hartford Area (and New England States)

(I-84 Westbound)

Take I-91 or I-84 to Hartford. From Hartford, follow I-84 westbound and take Exit 22 off I-84. At the traffic light at end of exit take a left onto Union Street. Go straight through three (3) traffic lights (St. Mary's Hospital is on your right at the third light). Proceed down the hill past the Gulf Station and at the next light (corner of Union & South Main Streets) make a right hand turn and then an immediate left hand turn into the Webster Bank parking lot. Enter Webster Bank from the parking lot and exit the elevator on the first floor. Proceed out of the Bank building onto Bank Street. Go right on Bank Street - we are located at 123 Bank Street (the Webster Financial Advisors Building - just down the street from Webster Bank).

From Danbury and Points West (and New York State)

(I-84 Eastbound)

Take I-84 eastbound and take Exit 22 off I-84. Proceed to the bottom of the ramp. Get in the left lane. Make a left turn at the light, go under I-84 and proceed to the traffic light. Go straight at the light and as soon as you pass through the intersection, on your left is the entrance to the Webster Bank parking lot. Enter Webster Bank from the parking lot and exit the elevator on the first floor. Proceed out of the Bank building onto Bank Street. Go right on Bank Street - we are located at 123 Bank Street (the Webster Financial Advisors Building - just down the street from Webster Bank).
